I ended buying non-quarter dollar silver proofs in 2019 with the switchover to .999 silver. To me, the 2018-S reverse proofs have a double meaning. The 50th anniversary of proofs at the SF mint AND the end of coin silver. The silver proof quarters I ended in 2021 with the end of
ATB just to finish the series.
To me, 2019 to date are bullion coins, which are boring and overpriced.
I love the history and tradition of 90 pct coin silver. It dates back to 1837 or so, but it's now history.
So I just collect CuNi clad proofs instead, since they represent the current circulating metal.
