What does this question have to do with varieties or errors?

@arch, since you have posted this thread in the us modern variety and error section, you will be getting answers limited to those parameters. Can you please explain if you were instead asking more broadly? For example, a high grade 1909 S vbd cent posted in the us modern section would almost certainly be worth more than the typical errors posted here. Moreover, many of the large cents and silver nickels posted in the us classic section would similarly tend to have high values.

You may find that using the CCF search box, which is located at the top left of your screen, helps you to hunt down some of the eye candy which has been posted over the years and thus answer your question.

As far as "coins found on this site" are concerned, this high-grade 1916-D dime (posted for ID in the US Classic subforum in 2009) sold for $8625 in 2010, which is probably on the higher end, though I wouldn't rule out something even higher (especially as 2010 was a long time ago and prices had gone a long way up since then).
