1955-S Repunched Mint Mark / RPM -002 Stage B Just Found On The Same Lot

uruman Pillar of the Community United States 5196 Posts	Posted 08/20/2024 1:36 pm I found these 1955s RPM-002 last night and I was able to attribute on both CopperCoins and VarietyVista according to V V stage B since it doen't have the die chip on the left wheat .( I found 2 more1955d FS-101 for a total of 6 coins ,and 4 more of the 1950 rpm-003 for a total of 10 so far, only 50 coins to go through ) Report this Post to the Staff

You're finding an abnormally high proportion of varieties relative to a normal group of coins. For sure I would recommend looking very carefully at the ones you passed on as they may have something going on that is harder to see versus the more obvious ones you've attributed. uruman Pillar of the Community United States 5196 Posts	Posted 08/20/2024 3:54 pm rpmsrpms , I agree with you that the percentage of varieties and small errores is high compare to other lot I have got , the guy a the store told that he went through them just looking for obvious errors but that he didn't have the time to look for rpms ,ddo or bies , but I wasn't expecting to find so many of them over 100 coins with some kind of varieties or something else . .
