hello my fellow numismatists
I have a curious 1948 penny that seems to have a small date, all of my other 1948s have the same size numerals , but this one seems smaller. Has anyone else come across any like this I have uploaded it with a normal penny and a halfpenny for comparison. Maybe I am just dreaming.
appreciate any thoughts on this.

There is no noted small date variety for 1948, so this is interesting. It is difficult to be sure from the photos that it is a die variation or just differential PMD. Are you able to get closer and sharper pictures?
