Has any Canadian collectors been hit with a tarrifs charge by CBSA on returing PCGS, NGC, graded coins, getting mix messages. Also Heritage was at Coin Expo, reps were assureing that buying Canadian coins through their sales will not incure any tarrifis, I am not sure of this statement

My latest PCGS sub return just had the usual PST and GST molestation plus the Fedex brokerage fee....I have heard from Great Collections that coins are not part of the tariff exposure.

That is great to hear, a couple dealers has paused accepting PCGS stuff untill more clarity with the situation at yesterday's show

Do you want the bad or good news first?

Bad:
It's going to be more difficult if buying numismatic items from genuine dealers and auction houses outside the US.

Good:
It's going to be much more difficult for China to export fake coin products to the US.


Overall effect:
American collectors will tend to stick to more to American dealers and US coins.
