I have this silver coin from China, probably a recoined for tourist, since I got it from street market in Yunnan, anywise I'ld like to identify it, but I was not able using my catalogues on paper and online, here below coin details:
weight: 36.28 g.
large: 45 mm.
thick: 2.5 mm.

All of the coins for sale in the street markets in China are fakes. This one is a replica of a "fantasy pattern" 1 tael from the 1920s; here's a genuine example being auctioned later this month with a $4000 estimate: https://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotv...163b09a382df

Compare the fine details on the original, specifically the fine hairs on the mane and tail of the dragons; these details are missing on yours.

Hi, thanks for your support, anywise the coin doesn't have magnetic attraction, as said I beleive is a tourist copy, but it seems a real silver

I would caution you that while being non-magnetic means it isn't the cheapest of fakes, in my experience that doesn't mean that it is silver. You could perform a nondestructive test such as measuring the specific gravity. If you do perform such a test, please post your results here as it is always good to have that feedback. Thx.

It would be interesting to know the weight, large and thick of the original coin, just to know if it is silver or not, unfortunatly I'm not able to find this coin in a catalog to have these data.
