VF (30) Details, Corrosion/Damage.

Also on the center I can't tell if it is a planchet flaw or hit.

In hand it looks like hit but hard to notice it - looks much worse in the picture.

Won this for a total of $79 (bid + BP + S&H). I mostly got this to see if an acetone/Verdi-Care treatment will improve the look of it. If it happens to look better I'll post the results..............

That's a surprise, Marv65. I didn't expect to have a details grade from minor corrosion issues. I hope the acetone and Verdi-Care treatment will improve it.

just curious, why would you crack this out to treat it? the coin if resubmitted would result in the same grade or are you just looking at putting it in an album?

i think VF25 is tad low

I have no desire to slab coins. But I do enjoy filling blank cent Dansco's with low mintage small cents.

Nice hole filler Marv65. I with you on not slabbing and just plugging album holes now. Back to basics.
