1839 Booby Head Large Cent

Excellent, jerryc! The 1839 Booby Head Large Cent has a special place in my heart - it was the first coin I bought from a catalog. Back when I was 10 or probably younger (so 1972 or before), I saw a listing for one of these in one of those big ads in Coin Week or some such similar newspaper-like periodical. I ordered in sight-unseen simply because of the name. And yes, I still have it.
As for the grade, I'll wait until you have it in hand and post your own photos. But I approve of your purchase based on these pics.
