I have a couple of 1861-O half dollars and want to see if anyone can identify which of the 15 varieties they could be.
I apologize for the bad pictures as my camera years ago used to take great pictures but since I changed to overhead lighting in the room I can't take a good picture to save my life.

I think I know which one but what I don't understand is why NGC would not AT LEAST put the date on the slab.
I guess if they weren't going to put the date on it they weren't going to do a variety attribution that you usually see on 1861-O SS Republic slabs.
It is either W-14 or W-15 because it does have the speared olive bud. If you can see if there is a vertical die crack on the left side of the "6" of the date then it would be W-14, if not then it is W-15.
