Well My Company Just Decided To Liqudate My Department (All Of It)

Naw, I'm not Union - never been. And I'm sure there are jobs out there that would take me in a heartbeat, but 20 years + in construction just beat me down, so for now, I'll manage on what I have and enjoy my dogs, and try to get a lot of work done on this house I finally bought. So all my skills are going to that.

Starting with a block wall re-build that I already tore out because the workers that installed it did a crap job and the columns have broken loos and it wobbled threatening to come down on its own. So I'm out in front of that possible mess and rebuilding it properly and then just need to attach a new wood fence to it (for privacy and keep my dogs in the yard. I'll be ordering 7 80 pound bags of quikrete mix for the base of the new blocks and to core fill the blocks 200, I'll buy about 3 80lbs bags for the build up of the brick wall (that may be over kill, but I can use it later on other stuff if needed). I just don't want to come up short before I'm done

Things like digging a trench 3 fee deep to extend a sewer line to my back yard for a dual purpose use Pool back wash and draining when needed, and as an RV dump out. For that job, I have to cut my drive way under my carport to get to the main line that dumps to the city. Then back fill the trench and re concrete the carport concrete

Then right after that I'll be closing in my carport into a garage/work shop (which I need desperately) Where I'll be running electrical wiring from my main panel to outlets in the garage, plus lots of CAT6 wire for hard hook-ups to my network, plus for adding cameras in front of the new garage and inside it as well.

Then after that, I need to dig a 2 foot trench from the side of my house to my pool equipment for a natural gas line for a future pool heater (water gets down to the mid 50 degrees in the winter) This also requires a saw cut to get under the concrete patio slab to run a 1.5 inch conduit for the required gas line.

There is lots more I want to do but that is a long way done the line. I'll be happy if I can accomplish the 4 things above before the end of next year.
