Back in 2015, a thread was started for "Favorite Color Coin". It didn't catch on and was locked some time ago. I thought maybe a restart of the theme would have better engagement today as the issue of such pieces has become widespread.

I don't proactively collect color-enhanced pieces, but have added a number of them over the years as part of other collecting endeavors.

So, post your coin, token or medal that is enhanced with added color (or colour in the UK and nations of the Commonwealth such as Australia and Canada).

I'll kick things off with one of my favorite color-enhanced commemorative Silver Dollars from Canada, the 2007 Enameled Thayendanegea Silver Dollar.

See 2007 Enameled Thayendanegea Silver Dollar for more about the coin.

Next up for me is a 1993 silver medal that mimics the Oregon Trail Memorial Half Dollar (1925-1939) designs.

Looks like we already had an active Colorized Coin topic. Let me add these new ones to the topic that Keith had created back in June.

I think Commems had something different in mind.

I made it clear only Mint colourised. And he's looking anything (aftermarket included) only from the "Commonwealth". I believe

It doesn't surprise me to find that a thread for this theme already existed (I even contributed to it!). What did surprise me was not locating it with my search - until I saw that the existing thread uses the British English spelling - colour - vs. the American English - color. I only searched for the American English spelling. Oh well. No harm, no foul.

I was looking to start a broad-based thread for the theme. But I'm fine with other approaches.

I'm fine with keeping it limited to mint-issued coins and medals. There are plenty out there.

(I will say, however, that being a bit flexible with the inclusion criteria - within reason - could lead to more replies.)

My "Commonwealth" comment was only an attempt to be inclusive and cover the British English and American English spellings of the word. Nothing more. Coins/tokens/medals from all countries would have been welcome.
