Thump66 New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted Today 6H 30M ago Hello I have studied the varieties of most errors but I'm still having problems with the double die and watch the videos on the 10 types and distilled don't feel 100% comfortable so I have a coin 1969 S I want to show you and see if anybody has any good information and can tell me what exactly is going on on this coin. I think everybody for anybody's help I haven't been on the site for quite a long time my name is Scott and like I said I appreciate anybody who can give me some advice some instruction some information, thank you very much. JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21878 Posts	Posted Today 1H 38M ago Notice the reduced device, that is Machine Doubling. If it was a Doubled Die, the device would be larger. A good example is to look at the 9's in the date. The second 9 is normal whereas the first 9 is reduced as Machine Doubling. If this was a Doubled Die, the first 9 would be larger than the second 9.
