I know what the Red Book says, but whats considered a good price to buy? Would 75 cents a piece be too high? Or just right? What about for ones with various problems, but not horrible....40 cents? Also, what about for ordinary Liberty nickels? Is $1.10 and $.65 good, respectively? I've just bought a ton of these, I've separated out the nice dates for later, but I'm thinking of reselling some in lots to people trying to start sets, just looking for a few coins, etc. I have no idea what decent prices are (I'm thinking lots of 10, 7 buffalos 3 liberties or so) so help me out guys, please. []Dealer 1 offered 50 cents for worn, but all 4 digits of the date showing, 25 cents for 2 digits, 8 cents for no date. []Dealer 2 offered 35 cents for 2 digits of the date showing. [*]Dealer 3 offered 10 cents for partial dates. Are you selling to a dealer or to a collector? Your 75 cent sounds about right based on the way you are describing them. But I did NOT stay at a Holiday Inn last night, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Report this Post to the Staff

I saw a bag of 25 buff's dated in the 20's at the local antique mall for $12.50 about 2 weeks ago. I suppose that was probably a good price. Report this Post to the Staff
