Blasphemy!

That comment about the fish tank....makes me think of a friend of mine that has a large 75 gallon tank I gave to him as a gift. I was visiting him and I noticed he had a couple 90% silver halves he had setting in the tank. I thought I'd add my own contribution. I tossed in a random zincoln I had in my pocket that looked shiny enough to stand out. I visited him again a months later and stopped to look at the zincoln I threw in.....it was completely dissolved except for the copper clad layer. It looked like a shell of a penny swaying with the tank currents. I reached in to retrieve it, but that was a failed effort. I did not realize how this that copper coating must have been. It dissolved into flaky copper dust when I touched it.

That made me think too, good quality zincolns may be an item in the far future. I realy have to agree with collectors that set aside the very good ones when roll hunting. They have no durability to the elements, apparently.
