Can Anyone Identify This Coin For Me

This is a large silver coin with what looks to be a saint standing full hight with a x behind him and under him is the initials IWS around the back is br& lun.dux.s.r.i.a.th&el. On the front is a crown with a sort of shield under the crown and inside it is 3 lions under them is a harp top right to this is 3 plumes under them is 3 lions and a horse and around the edge is the letters 1766 george.111.d.g.m.brit.fr&hib.rex.f.d. One thing you haven't told us is the exact size; "large" is a bit imprecise, and two different coins were struck in 1766 with a design identical to the one you've described: the 1/3 thaler (30mm) and the 1 thaler (39mm). The Duchy of Brunswick-Luneberg was the ancestral homeland of the British monarchs that succeeded Queen Anne; from 1714 until 1837, Britain and Brunswick-Luneberg were separate countries that were ruled by the same monarch. As for price, here's a thaler for sale dated 1773 of the same type; they're asking $335.
