A look at Red Book says 1807 Large date pointed 1 (as apposed to blunt 1) variety but not good at grading. |

it looks like its in Fine condition because of the details in the hair and drapery, and I think I can see some details in the leaves. There is some corrosion but the legend is there and overall its a great find. It looks like a large 7 over 6 so its book is around 160 for a coin this grade.

On second thought I would grade this a VG10 and the value would probably be around $100 if you went to buy this at a coin shop.

Large 7/6 S-273 Detail VG-10 overall moderate corrosion net AG-3 to G-4. Very common variety but popular because of the very prominent overdate.

Nice looking over date.
I wouldn't trust my grading so I'll defer to vermontensium and Condor101.

I dont trust my grading either thats why I'm not employed by a TPG. sometimes I get too happy about a coin. hehe |
