At the begining of the 1990's I was able to pick up a nice uncirculated pack of 50 of these notes for 50 cents each. They were issued in July of 1970 in Mexico.

Because the portrait was that of a "REAL" Gypsy I nicknamed them "The Gypsy Girl Note" Before the end of the year they were selling for $6.00 each. I wish I had 500 more but that was other days. So I decided to share the photo of one of these with you.

I really like the artwork on your "Gypsy" note. I have seen quite a few notes that have beautiful artwork and detail. It's a shame that this area of numismatics is often overlooked.

Let me know and I am sure we can work something out! Can't send you a buffalo steak as the weather is to darn warm now but they say old man winter is coming back! I need some sun BAD as I seem to be about a quart low on Vitamin C! If it wasn't for coins in Feb and March I would probably go nuts!
