Hello Everyone,
I have in my possession some Chinese dollars that I cannot identify the reverse side of the coin. The obverse are exactly the same as the year type coins seen on ebay and searching through Google but the reverse is a mystery. The gram weight is 27.2. Mainly the top emblem on the reverse writing cannot be identified.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

The top character on the reverse side is 伍 which means "five".

The denomination is therefore "five yuan" or "five dollars".

Unfortunately, no "five yuan" coins were produced in "the 3rd year of the Republic" (1914) so the coin is a fake.

Wow, that is an interesting copy. I've seen tons of counterfeit "Fat Man" dollars, but none that had a fantasy denomination.
Makes me wonder if this is a recent production.

Gary,
Thank you for the answer to my question. I figured something was up with that character but was not sure what it meant.
