This is unexpected I had no idea the Perth Mint would do this but a few days before Christmas and they announce two new products.

The first is the 2007 Lunar Pig PNC. This coninues the tradition of releasing a PNC to coincide with the Chinese Lunar calender.

The second product is the 2007 Chinese New Year Holey Dollar and Dump coin.

You can check these out at BIGFELLAS site or you can check out the PERTH Mint site.

I thought the Lunar series of coins had ended.

I have collected most of the One Ounce Lunar coins.

Can anyone tell me when the series will end?

The Gold Lunars ended this year - To complete the Silver Lunar set you will have to wait until 2010

Have fun along the way

I don't have a so called "lunar" yet, but since you say they are in silver, which is actually inside my budget (unlike gold) where might I find one?

The one ounce silver Lunar Coins are beautiful.

We buy ours through our local coin dealer. They are also available by mail order. Just buy a " Coin World" and you will see plenty of ads for them.
