If you knew what the dates were it might help. If they are all common dates, almost any dealer or coin store should buy them but not for a lot. Have you looked them over for dates and mint marks?

ebay right now in lots of 5000 coin seem to fetch about 1.4x face if you already have an ebay account

I've been unloading my excess hoard of coppers on ebay. I've sold 2 lots of $50 FV coppers, both have ended at $76, plus $12 flat rate shipping. It's essentially a slow, self-generating product as I acquire them from roll hunting cents. I just need a dozen or so more rolls and i'll have another batch up for sale soon.

After fees, that's about a $15 profit per $50FV. If you have a Ryedale and do massive volume then its easy to get $50 face value. It takes me quite a long time to accumulate $50 as I roll search for varieties, BU's, and foreign coins, so $15 profit for my many hours of searching wasn't cost effective. If your copper is excess then ebay is the easiest route.

just carl, I hand search and pull out all wheaties, s mints, and uncircs. so basicly they are all common. and to everyone else, I've looked at ebay and its not worth it. I'm trying to find someone outside of ebay.

Your choices are basically craigslist, ebay or cash them in at face.

As a fellow St Lousian, I can tell you that none of the local dealers will have any interest, the profit margin is too small for them to mess with Memorial cents. You might want to try Realcent.org and if you want to avoid ebay, your only other option would be Craigslist.

try joining the realcent forum, there are a bunch of people there who will buy, and you only need 10 posts to start selling.
