can you attribute this coin? There's not much legend and this is a silver washed coin.

At first I was convinced it was Claudius II but I'm now sure its Gallienus.

The 'G...NVS AVG' is pretty clear when you know its Gallienus.

The reverse is Sol (ORIENS AVG) holding a globe and I can see no whip or any field marks.

It must be one of the following:

RIC V-1 (S), Milan 494/5
RIC V-1 (S), Rome 249

I dont think your coin ever had a mint mark so I would say it was the Rome coin (the Milan one usually has a 'P' or an 'S') and dated around ?264?. It looks nice and silver considering these coins were very heavily debased so maybe its a little earlier date wise, perhaps the silvering has just survived very well.
