I have some shipwreck coins from Admiral Gardner. I was wondering if I could send it in for grading. If I did, would I have to mention anything specific in the NGC form?

Would the coin that gets graded get listed under the same KM# as the other coins that were not a part of the ship wreck?

Is there anything I should take care of when I buy these type of coins?

Kindly let me know

Thanks

I would like to know this too. I also have a coin from the Admiral Gardner and was thinking of having it graded.

I know they do grade shipwrecked coins, I would call them and ask them though.

Its not clear to me if theres anything special that would have to be done to get the shipwrecked designation or not from their site

It would get a details grade, and you would probably have to mention that it is from the Admiral Gardner or it would probably just be listed as corroded. It may still just be listed as corroded as you probably have no way to prove it was from the Gardner. In either case the KM number is the same.
