I've recently bought some Zimbabwe notes and was wondering if they're really worth that much. I got them for just the novelty and their inexpensive nature, but can you sell them as whole sets?

ohhhh Zimbabwe, what a treacherous country since Mugabe took over power. The country's industry, medical situation, currency, and standard of living has done oh so well since he ordered the land seizure of white owned land, which often also resulted in the brutal murders of white men, women, and children.

.....anyways, sticking to the point, this series is fun to collect. I especially like the 50 dollar bill, and obviously the trillion dollar bills. Value? Not much, unless collector interest were to skyrocket in demand for a very recently mass-produced hyper-inflated currency. One should look to the same novelty displayed in the Weimar Republic. What are their prices, and is there a lot of interest in these notes?

Latest Zimbabwe banknotes (after 2005) are cheap and will forever remain cheap; eventually some variety will show up and it can cost a little more. Major dealers have huge stocks of Zimbabwe banknotes because tens of millions of them are printed, but the inflation was faster - the notes lost it's value even before they were put into circulation.

Collecting banknotes is fun, and that fact applies even on Zimbabwe banknotes. If you're looking for an investment object, try something else.
