I have an opportunity to pick up this 1848 6 pence. (Where IS that date?!?) It has a mintage of 586,000 and is listed at $225.00 for VF20 on the NGC website.

What value would you put on this coin?

BTW I believe it has an ASW of 0.0895 oz...or about $3.
