Would this coin with heavy edge damage still hold value? It was in a setting and poorly removed.

"Ex-Jewelry" is almost always devalued. If it is a common date for that variety, I would venture to say that the value has now been reduced to melt. We would have to see some good pics of the coin with close-ups of the damage to be sure.
