I think if you are going for a hole-filler for a tough date it would be a good example... But there are better examples, but a steeper price tag will come along with that...IMHO of course...

I would just return it. Asking a seller for a partial refund is a no-no. You could e-mail the seller and let them know you are not happy with the coin and let them take the lead.

This is splitting hairs. I'd call it VF35 details but someone else would say XF details. It's close either way.

This is about education more than anything else. I hope you take it that way. I would rather own a problem-free, attractive VF piece, or even Fine, than a coin with major problems.

Some problem coins are very attractive and don't even look like they have problems, those can be nice bargains at times. This is not one of those coins.
