I sold my old detector yesterday....it wasn't working correctly but the buyer didn't have much to spend and he is going to try and fix it. Interesting part is, he told me that several weeks ago he found a 1901 dime while he was digging to lay some new water pipe. Turns out his house was built around 1850 and he believes nothing was ever done as far as fresh landscaping.
I told him to give me a buzz if he wanted me to help search the property - free of charge. I doubt he will caLL but the thought of what else is buried there is driving me crazy. Good places to dig that are old and unsearched are scant nowadays.
Mdh you might be surprised...I get tired of the same ol same ol, that's when I go door knockin! Sure, some yards have been hunted, but every now and then I find a virgin yard, and yank out silver halves, large cents, Shield nickels, indians, and so on...old yards...the final frontier!
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors... Roll hunting since '77 Dirt fishing since '72
