As all of you well know, I collect Lincolns, however, I saw this coin at my favorite dealers and couldn't resist it. The luster is like a searchlight and the coin absolutely glows. It stood out in his case and was calling me for some reason. Yes, that is the actual color...it has a nice gold toning over both sides.

A beauty for sure. I was kinda let down a little to see the monument and steps after the cleanness of the obverse, is it a mushy strike or wear on the reverse? Still, all in all a gorgeous coin.

It's a later die state, which is a double edged sword... More luster but less detail. Still a nice looking, I'd call it MS63. I think the missing detail on the reverse is a combination of a weakish strike and the die state.

I'd call it a MS-64. 65 if not for the nicks around "Five Cents"

Based on the eye appeal and luster, I think this coin is an MS-66 all day long.
