I purchased a 2 cent piece for my 19th Century type set which hasn't been attended to as much as it should have been. Too many projects going on at the same time. I should concentrate on just one to completion but that is sooo hard to do. It is an 1865 PCGS MS-63BN. It is the first of the eight copper coins required in the set to be obtained. I am now officially past the halfway point in completing the set with 14 of the 27 holes filled. The white spots are on the slab not the coin.

I completely understand. This is why I still have 3 Ikes I need for my complete BU collection and 7 Jefferson nickels for that complete set in BU...which is the same number I needed 3 months ago when I finally finished my Lincoln Cent collection. Then I jumped into dimes. I really think I need to lock a few of them away so I can't skip around.

I have no idea but it must be fun since I do it all the time. Did I mention I started a Silver Eagle BU set? You know, because I don't have enough sets going.

Wow Marz! You NEED to give this its own thread! Where it will receive proper attention!

Gotta wonder how that got to your side of the pond. Kinda like me pulling an Oliver Cromwell coin from my local shop.

BTW, looks like an RR2. Bressett 1-A.

Tbone,
I believe "Jewel describes this coin perfectly...... What are you using to take your photos? Also how did you find this rascal?

The only Seated Liberty dime I have in my collection is an 1856 and I don't even know how to tell a large date from a small date. Again your dime is a beauty, congratulations! rcordell
