Man, I hate when that happens. I'm still not over one I lost out on last year that I wanted badly. It just turned into a bidding frenzy and got out of my range.

Tbone- is that a new avatar? Man, that is seriously gorgeous. I assume you posted it before, but I think I missed it.
How did that 1902-O grade, Dave?

Darth, It's a raw purchase. The plastic you see is a Whitman plastic 2x2 that I use for all my raw Morgans. I've got it as MS63 and it's a VAM8.

Oh, I gotcha. I just assumed it was in a PCGS holder. Tbone- IMO that dime is right up there with the most beautiful, perfectly toned coin that has ever existed (again, IMO): the 1881-S MS68 "Moose" Morgan dollar: This coin exists in a realm where I cannot tread. . .

Tbone- that is so cool that they used that dime on their banner. Is there any way you could obtain it? Thanks for the links. Yep, the moose Morgan did get a "+". That is my dream coin. All of your dimes are "moose" dimes. I checked out your online album. Spectacularly amazing!

Funny you mention that about the banner. I actually asked them and they only have a few so they agreed to write my name and phone number on the back of one and will give it to me if they change to a different banner design down the road.

Here's the new purchase I just made at the Portland ANA show! I'm so excited to have finally found one of these things!! I've had a beast of a time trying to find an '84. PCGS XF40 CAC'd.

I'm trying to put together a 20th century gold type set and I recently picked up this 1904-S double eagle at a local auction.

I love the XF look of that 3 cent piece. Silver looks awesome this way.
