Oh, I got it, just thought it was somewhere on the silly --> stupid continuum.
Then again, the Internet is where sarcasm and humor go to die...

Has more colorful toning than my amateurish photography skills can portray.

Ok here is the first of my hoard collection bought last week. I love the show so I thought it would be nice to own a Morgan dollar from the Pawn Stars! Thank you History Channel!

No pics yet, but today from my LCS I picked up two Standing Liberty quarters for $6.75 total. 1925 in VG10 and a 1926 in F. Also picked up some nice cents in the Wheat cent jar. They don't usually go through them, so for all they care there could be a 1909 S VDB in there. Someone already found a 1914 D in there.. Anyways, pulled out for $0.05 apiece: 1909 VDB in AU-58, so close to UNC. 1911 S (amazing date, one of the best pulls I've ever had in the jar) in F. Verdicare will take the surface corrosion off the reverse. 1917 D in F-12. 1932 in XF-AU. Beautiful coin. 1916 S in G-04. Also scored 26 pre-1960 nickels, for face value. Picked up 5 1955 P's, 5 '39 S's, about 10 '38 D's, along with a 51S and 3 1938 D's ranging from one that grades AU-55 and the rest are MS62-64

Can't wait to get pics! Sounds like a great score on that VDB!

Quote: It was a joke Gyrene. Okay, I missed that one. But, my statement that there are people on this forum that really need to buy a Red Book still stands. There are so many questions asked that could be answered if the person owned and actually would open a Red Book. A lot of people are just too lazy to actually do any sort of research about a topic which in itself is a learning experience and just ask a question on this web site which then gets both accurate and inaccurate information from persons that actually know and those that think they know and do not have a clue.

This is my 4th 1909 VDB I've pulled out of the wheat barrel.
The better stuff I've found: 1909 P no VDB variety, 4 1909 VDB's, 1910 S w/ corrosion, 1911 D&S, 1913D, 1915S w/ corrosion, two 1916 S's, 1918 S, 1922 weak D, 1926 S in VF-20 maybe F-15, 1932P's, loads of 1932D's, 1933 and I believe one 1933 D. Also found a 1936 that was 10-20% off center.

Quote: Normic asked what the REALLY small holes on the left were for. I took it to mean the album holes, and commented with a JOKE (please note the smiley face). Johntookit obviously understood it as intended since he agreed and added his own smiley. Not only that, johntookit edited the image to add a couple of fractional coins to the album post holes. Brilliant!
