I bought six more common Liberty Standing quarters from 1930 backwards. Most were in Fine condition, but one was in VG. This collection is going to be a challenge I can see due to the prices of some of the coins. We know the 1916 is an AzzKicker, but some others are also expensive in anything beyond VG. I would like to have a basically Fine quality collection but I know this will be expensive. When I was a kid I think I almost never saw a LSQ where you could read the date much less the D or S. Perhaps I will try the Mercury dimes at the same time so when I get frustrated with the LSQ's I can at least buy a few dimes.

Picked this up last weekend for my MS64 Peace dollar collection because it was the nicest one I have seen in a couple of months of looking. Of course, as my luck would have it, two days later, I found a nicer one. What to do .......... what to do ......

Wow, The Ike & Peace pics posted above
Today at my LCS I picked up an 1884-S Morgan & a 1925 Peace dollar for $20 each & a 1920 Walking Liberty half for $6. At a flea market I found an interesting 1oz silver token which I posted about in the tokens thread. Overall, it was a fun day enjoying my hobby

Yeah, that Ike is lovely. The mint produced really nice 74-s silver business strikes. One of the best Eisenhower dollars in my registry set is the 74-s in MS67. It's a real GEM. Denco- that Peace dollar looks good enough to me. Beautiful.

I was actually looking at your registry set just a couple of days ago Darth and then added a bunch of cheap auction Ikes to the ebay watch list in hopes of snagging a nice one.

Only my second certified Ike. My other is my birth year 1971 in Proof 69DCAM.

Got them both off this seller. He always has lots of Ikes certified and with a low starting price auction.

Buckeye- one of the things I want to get done at some point is to upload photos of my coins to the registry. I would really like to have then all TrueViewd by PCGS, but that seems too far out of reach. So I'm thinking that I'll do slab photos that are standardized. That is, I want to shoot each slabbed coin under the exact same conditions for the same look. I wish I could have had more than just one photo for you to see. You know the saying- "pics, or it didn't happen". Hehe.
