Quote:1942 D VF Mercury dime for $5 at the pawn shop. Why do I go there? They sell F-15ish walkers for $19! COTW, that really is the question. If you know it is overpriced, I think you should take your business elsewhere. I am not much of an ebay fan myself, but you can do much better there!

Thanks, thundercoin. I will keep that in mind. I just like going there better because I can see the coins in hand. KaKaratt77, that is an awesome morgan

@Child, the only thing I look for at pawn shops are errors/varieties!

It's really quite simple, COTW. Bad pricing = don't buy.
It frustrates me more that you continue to buy coins there, rather than it bothering me that the pawn shop overprices their items.

I was just at a coin/pawn shop and they had VF and higher walkers and AU franklins in the same bin for $7.50 each. If the store you go to sells for more than double that, take your money and run COTW. Trust me, it is way worth it.

Alright, LOL. Looks like I'll have to see if any of the antique/thrift stores are still open and or sell coins!

OBW 1963 Roosevelt roll Hard to take good pictures of these. Two end toner dimes in the middle, golden to golden rainbow, one on obverse, the other reverse. Quick look through shows most to be 65-66 with a 67 or two here and there. Most all are FT's. Sorry again for the picture quality, they're too shiny!

I might send the toners off for PCGS but one has a weak torch so maybe send one of the ones I think can pull a 67.
