Thanks guys. Although it's a more common date, it was still a hole I needed to fill in my CC collection. Go big or go home, right? I paid $376 for it.

I don't care how common that date is. That Morgan is off the charts in my book. Oh my. I don't even want to post a coin after that one but somebody has to do it. Picked this up today. 1942/1 NGC AU53.....One more hole filled in my little registry set. I'm still not over that Morgan.   Got me talking to myself. I'm never gonna finish this Mercury dime set. That's why I'm here. Look at all these fine coins and focus on my Mercs. |

Great Mercury dime! I always thought they were gorgeous coins. I have many from back in the day, but never considered collecting them seriously. I started collecting at a ridiculous age. Back then you could find Mercury dimes in pocket change. My aunts and uncles would begrudgingly turn over their pocket change for me to sift through after church on Sunday. When I think back now, I understand why my folks always seemed to be embarrassed with my coin hunt. |

Talk'in to myself. I swore I wouldn't buy anymore Morgans till I filled a few of these tougher dates. Then I see that beautiful Morgan. Well done Mikef. I don't know about you, but that Morgan has the look I like.

Hope you got enough popcorn Jbuck as I am still waiting... Starting to get antsy as I think one of them should have been here by now...   However, I did receive one 64 Kennedy in the mail today... Edited by Bryan78

Apex Is half the date missing on the 1925 Buffalo nickel, or is that just the slab covering half the date? I don't see how the coin can be rated as VG with half the date missing? PCGS must know what they are doing? The 1884CC is so distinctly PL there can be no mistake. I have one but it does not look like that! I am missing three CC Morgans. You can imagine which ones...85,89 and 93. I just won't buy them in Good Condition which means they are flat as a pancake. |
