Nice SLQ there MikeFCongrats. I have never really broke down and bought a nice one of those. I will tho at some point. ( insert edit ) --- Hey I am looking at that picture of your quarter Mike. That wouldn't be a 1918 over 7 there would it? But the mm looks like a D not an S. Don't know much about this series. Well, I'll add I won this strange US Dollar today. 2016 P Mark Twain Commemorative Proof I know I'm on a roll for proof and unc silver newer stuff lately. The US Marshals Dollars showed up nice as can be and Dolley Madison has come home to stay. Superb coins. I hope this one looks better than my pictures from the auction. It is from the Feb 2016 Long Beach Expo First Strike slabbed by PCGS and graded PF69. Yeah it's different alright. They seem to be a bit in demand.

Nice double eagle Ralph, and paralyze has some light frosting going on by the looks of it on a number of those SMS coins. I always liked the SMS sets. The Rodney Dangerfield of mint sets IMO. Well, I got this today. LOL jbuck, they're coming to take me away! Late edit:I did hunt down the proof half dollar now too. That would be the one easiest saved for last to finish the set. No gold Marshals for me tho. Marshals wore silver stars.       Edited by TNG

I just got home from the auction... Spent way more then I wanted too, but got some great deals... Too many to put up a quick pic, but if I get time I will get some up. here is the list. There was an 1856 Flying Eagle Proof there. Graded PR40 by PCGS... Went for $13,000... What do you think my total was? I will get some pics up asap |

Well, my want and means are presently unaligned. Wants are things like an 1850s double eagle in XF, 1863, 1864, 1865, 1866 3cs in XF. Means are like the $5 discount box.
But I go, have fun, talk to people about coins. It's not bad...

@bstrauss3 It would be too hard for me to leave empty handed.......I would probably grab a few fv of 90% or some silver dollars if I couldn't find much of anything else haha
