what would you grade this cent? I have had no luck with pictures lately, these are the best I can do for now.

What's with the 2nd five? Looked on e-bay, either straight or slanted fives but on all examples I see both are same shape.

I noticed that too its a fat 5 variety ill get a closer pic of that 5, I looked in my book "United States Copper Cents 1816-1857 by Newcomb" and it doesn't say anything about that either but its an older book too.

Here's an AU50 I found on Collector's Corner - based on this I would say yours is XF40 - 45.

My guess is EF-40 details for this coin

That's pretty surprising, usually when a coin is even lower end XF details they will slab it 'VF details'. I'd personally call this 30-35 though.

I concur with SC on the grade, VF-30/35. Where is the scratch on the reverse?

the scratch runs from top right F through cent.
