Any idea what this is and where it is from? It is brass, measures 28.6mm, is 0.9mm thick and weighs 5.08 grams. The reverse is 90 degrees off from the obverse as shown in the photo.

My guess is that is a trade token for 50 Cents.

Period? My guess is that is is between WW1 and WW2.
