A new exhibit at the Money Museum explores coins that could have lined people's pockets but never made it past a trial design. This display of 19th century pattern coins is a new addition to the museum's interactive, multimillion-dollar Harry W. Bass Jr. Exhibit. The world-class, permanent gallery displays 80 years worth of pattern coins.

That's a well-conceived museum display! I'll have to visit that someday...

Man! I was just in Denver for 2 weeks this summer and even spent 2 days in Co Springs and I never knew they were there! If I had I would have gone!
