Schãœtze-Sagittarius-German-Astrological-Medal?

Apparently this a German or Austrian astrological medallion of some sort. It is 35.3mm in diameter, 1.7mm thick, and weighs 15.03 grams. It is proof-like on the obverse with the image frusted. The reverse has astrological signs around the rim with a hallmark (pictured) of 1000 IC. Any ideas on this baby?
