MacMerc, that's a very cool looking coin! Love to see what everyone has. I'm doing "housework" so I can still keep collecting but will take more pictures. My 16d has no rim damage by the way, just the coloring from it being in my grandfathers Whitman for the last 50 years. I always have felt this one I posted is a G4. We have a third one but everyone is in consensus that it's not genuine. Captain, your 1916 is great. I've been looking on ebay for a while for one but just haven't won a bid on one that high a grade yet.

Caferacer, I didn't post the "Non genuine" 16d, the one posted was the better of the 2 we know are okay. I'm still not completely convinced the other isn't genuine especially since the dealer near me said he would buy it for 50$ and accept what the result would be. I'll take pix of that one in the next few days. That questioned 16d is probably a f20 coin, but if it's not genuine it doesn't really matter. Thanks for the comment. If I had not inherited these, we probably would have never been able to own one at all.

Hmmm! I got a similar 34-D error that are in better shape then the 1920 or 1928 dime, but I need to get it to shoot it first.
Stay tune!

This one missed going through the upset mill. Broadstrike error. Plain edge.

That is cool Captain! How many separate images did that take? 12? One for each hour position? I would like to be able to do that type of animation, I have a few coins that require a certain angle to capture the toning details.
