CCFPress Press Manager United States 1420 Posts	Posted 11/16/2011 2:40 pm NGC commemorates 25th anniversary of the American Eagle Silver Coin Program The 2011 American Eagle Silver Coin sets have been released by the US Mint, to honor the program's 25th anniversary. NGC has created a special commemorative label and pedigree to mark the occasion. If you'd like your coins encapsulated with our special label and the pedigree 25th ANNIVERSARY SET, please review our submission guidelines. The anniversary set includes five 1oz American Eagle Silver Coins, all dated 2011: American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coin: mintmark "W" (West Point) American Eagle Silver Proof Coin: mintmark "W" (West Point) American Eagle Silver Reverse Proof Coin: mintmark "P" (Philadelphia) American Eagle Silver Bullion Coin: no mintmark American Eagle Silver Uncirculated coin: mintmark "S" (San Francisco) Coins from these sets must remain in the sealed US Mint shipping boxes. NGC will not accept submissions of these sets at trade shows. Collectors Society paid members: Submit your sets directly to NGC. If you're not already a member, you can join today -- paid memberships start at $39 per year. Join as a Premium member, or upgrade to Premium membership, and you'll receive a coupon for five free grading submissions, which you can use to submit your 25th Anniversary Eagle sets. If I only submit once or twice in my life.....it ain't worth the $39.00, IMO. Report this Post to the Staff
southsav Pillar of the Community 2223 Posts	Posted 11/16/2011 4:23 pm I intentionally bought my 2011 near the beginning of the year with this Silver 25th Anniversary label to commemorate the 25th rather than all the other misc labels they slapped on them. The fact it does not have the word 'Set' does not bother me in the least. My 25th sets will remain in their beautifully raw nakedness. eagle - Report this Post to the Staff
