I haven't been abel to get on ebay because I'm at work, but this is the listing I am looking at in my local paper:

Quote:
I have a 1909 S VDB Lincoln Cent certified VF30 in a PCGS holder. Price is $1300 FIRM. Also a 1914D Lincoln Cent certified VF30 in an ANACS holder. $700. Both cents are exceptional. I also have a 1927 incused Indian gold $2.5 in an NGC holder certified MS62,$550. If you are a serious CASH buyer I have some CC Morgans in GSA holders and some other coins for sale also.

Do those prices sound good or not?

if you have the money to buy everything I would go for it. you always get a better deal in buying the complete collection rather than 1 or 2 coins.

Red Book

1909S VDB VF-20=1250 XF-40=1400 Average 1345
1914D VF-20=400 XF-40=875 Average 638
1927 ms-60 400 ms-63 950 Average 675

Numismedia

1909S VDB VF-20=1110 XF-40=1290 Average 1200
1914D VF-20=408 XF-40=900 Average 654
1927 MS-62=538

Since I couldn't find any price information on VF-30 I just averaged the prices. What I can tell it seem like a fair deal. Especially if you can talk him down on the 1914D and the 1927. I left out ebay for you to peruse through.

The 1909-S VDB at $1300 seems a bit high. Heritage for 2011:$950-1050 Numismedia VF-20:$1110 EF-40:$1290.
The 1914-D at $700 also seems high. Heritage for 2011: about $400 for PCGS or NGC slabs. Numismedia: VF-20:$408 EF-40:$900
The 1927 $2.5 at $550 also seems a bit high. Heritage for 2011: $425-450 currently though earlier in the year they were selling for more like $500-550. Numismedia: MS-62:$538
The prices could be fair if the coins are nice and have good eye appeal.

The S-VDB in VF30 has been around $900 at auction lately.
The '14-D in VF30 around $400.
The 1927 Indian in MS62 around $450.

The asking prices are very high with the exception of the Indian which is just a little high.
