Got the Hawaiian Quarter in today and immediately tackled the obverse which was glue coated. Acetone did a great job of getting rid of the glue but I'm at a loss on how to get rid of the blue tint on the coin - especially on the reverse. Any thoughts and comments on the blue-ness and the grade? Paleoguy

It's quite possible to remove the toning, but you'll have a melt-value coin afterward.

You should have shown before & after. Looks nice. I would enjoy it as is now. From what I read about these 1883's, this is a survivor. Lot of history in this coin.
