Does anyone know what company's plastic capsules are used by the US Mint to package the American Eagles? I need 5 replacement capsules, as they were damaged in shipping my coins, and, I want to make sure they match the other ones exactly. I see different types on ebay, and, 1 seller selling what appears to be a good match, but, 2.99 each seems high?
Where to buy them, if you know would help a lot.
Thanks
Cal

I don't know specifically what brand of capsule the US Mint uses for ASEs but would think that they are fairly tough. It makes me wonder what kind of packaging the mint uses that allows their product capsules to be damaged in shipment. Seems to me that it would not be difficult to pack these in such a way that it would be virtually impossible to damage them, short of running over them with a fork lift or other large machine.
