We have seen these pieces a couple of times on the forum before, and they've always caused confusion. It's not an actual Israeli or Jewish coin. It's a Kabbalistic-derived healing charm; the star design is known as the "second pentacle of Mars", taken from the mediaeval Kabbalistic text called the "Key of Solomon".
