market for suckers willing to pay $1,000+ per ounce to own it.

Those are off the wall asking prices...not prices someone has actually paid....

The Mercanti is a created "rarity" not available to any collectors.

So much for depressed prices...this may be a new record high paid for a single coin:

DO NOT underestimate this series...Every Denomination has a Key Date Coin...or, 2, or 3...the investors in the ATB arena know this...

haha - yeah, ilikeikes, it really does. There's a crater in his back.

And I'm glad I've stuck with this series...even through the ridiculous prices of 3 years back.

I wonder if the US mint new ordering system I read about will affect the P version. I don't order online so I won't be using it.

There's still a couple of months left in the year to go yet, but the 2014 ATB bullion is looking to have numbers similar to the 2012 bullion pucks. Since the cut off sales for the 1 oz. platinum is Oct 1st., could the earlier ATB be not far behind with one additional release to go? The numbers so far are GSM = 30,000, SHD = 21,000, Arches = 21,200, and Sand Dunes, 10,000. No one is buying now because Ag is dropping hard and the dollar is strong and the mint rarely goes back to a previously minted design to mint more. I personally doubt any of them will get to to the 35,000 max. Only way that will happen is if Ag turns around and rises dramatically. Design wise, Arches is the best looking of the five and will lightening strike twice and turn it into the next Acadia? 21,200 vs 25,400, really good numbers.

I didn't receive an email from the mint for my subscription order of the latest puck. I just went and checked my order history and it says the order was placed on 9/11. I wonder why no email this time? 24 pucks down now. Tempus fugit.

No email here either. When I asked the question as to whether or not this coin may be affected, I was referring to any order not just online since the Mint site said all orders. I guess if these actually get processed before hand, we will get them or just have to wait.
