Got the Saratoga bullion from Provident today. Very clean puck, I do have to say I think the design looks better in person than online.

Hmmmm...as of last Sunday Bombay mintage actually was 700 BELOW Saratoga...

It would be interesting to see what the numbers were this past Sunday...

Could be a sleeper....

...and it was still 440 BELOW the Blue Ridge P puck

Hmmmm

Bombay Hook was available for a lot longer than Saratoga, hence I would not expect the last few to fly off the shelves. But I doubt they'll still be available tomorrow though.

It seems we have established a 'healthy' mintage of just under 20k - enough that those who are interested in the series can easily obtain one, but also not enough to diminish any long-term appreciation.
The obvious question will be what happens to the secondary market value of these once the series has finished? Will interest wane and prices drop because of x number of new coins and coin series released by the US Mint?
Is there anything that is comparable to this series in terms of magnitude?

Blue ridge was also up for a while then at sub 100 left they went within hours. Now, bombay has a chance to beat blue ridge mintage so I predict only hours tops until they're gone.

As for appriciation. Blue ridge currently sell for about $100 over issue price so bombay will probably act accordingly. As for long term appriciation, it all depends on if more than 20k people will collect these by date/mm in the future. If so, up they will go

...and it depends on next years' (and following) mintage.

...will they lower the price? If they do then sub-20k will be history.

...will they increase the bullion mintage AND leave the total at 65k affecting the P quantity?

Lot's of factors but looks like Bombay is this years low boy (unless the counter resets again
