On the bullion front:

Yesterday's first day's sales for Harpers: 33,000. Compare this to C-Gap first day: 48,000 and 41,800 for Shawnee first day.

40 left of Shawnee-P. Once they're gone the Mint almost never goes back to an older same-year design. This is true for both bullion and unc.

Three months ago they had only been on sale for a couple of weeks, Fox, and it was the current in-hand issue at the time. The Mint likes these to be on sale for at least three months, including any c/u gaps that may fall in between, but usually no more than four as long as it's the current issue. They've gone past C-Gap to Harpers, so that will be the inventory they will be or have already worked on. Wouldn't surprise me if they've even started planning on TR. Yeah!

The earlier ones from 2012 and 2013 lasted from two and a half months to about four months. Then 2014 and the first two of 2015 lasted nearly a year each. For some reason the Mint decided demand was trending downwards again and cut short the Blue Ridge Parkway, catching people by surprise. We've been in the downward part of the cycle for a year now.

And they're going, going, only 6 left.

Yup gone like the wind. Hope you got yours. I got mine early on, and while I was thinking of picking up an extra for the sub-par 17.7K sales, never jumped on it. The design just didn't do it for me, a bunch of stacked rocks... Had the hawk been more prominent that might have been a different story. Same with C-Gap, the design is bland and inert and the woodsman far too large on the puck. Could've have been majestic like the Lewis & Clark silver dollar which it emulates. I will get extras of the Harpers & TR-Ps for sure. Much better proportioned on the pucks, they both look great on the small silver proof quarters, IMO.

Yup....history repeats itself...why can't they just move on to the next issue rather than sucking every bit of cash out of this one...

I was able to add 100 to "my bag" ..no issues..available date as mentioned

Hmm. That's a new wrench in the works of unpredictability. I wonder the new burnished coins are going to be the leftovers from the bullion run? I find it interesting that there hasn't been a bullion coin accidentally burnished and sold as an unc with missing mint mark? It's so easy to overlook, right? The answer probably is the bullion is produced weeks before the unc is scheduled at least up until the Shawnee issue.

Again I would caution buying "naked" bullion from BPM. If they have to handle them it most likely will be without gloves unlike the other PM resellers. If it doesn't come with an original OGP capsule, the chances of getting a fingermarket bullion coin is high. This place treats bullion as strictly as if they were selling at spot with no premium. Caveat emptor.

I have never had a problem with any silver I have purchased from them. I got these 2 weeks ago and the 5oz came in a holder and the rest in flips with no issues.

On the other hand I would avoid JM Bullion not only because of their lack of customer service but the last year I picked up one each of the 2015 Canadian, Austrian, Armenian, British, and Somoli 1 oz all have yellow staining on them. It obviously had something to do with the way they store or handle the coins since they all came from different mints.
