As some pucks go, another begins today! Picked up a new P puck today along with a couple of the unc. ASEs. Free shipping today and for the next few days, so that is always a nice little ( and I do mean little ) bonus. Not a big fan of the design on this new one. Maybe it will look better in hand? Have to keep the collection current. Not the best year for designs that was for sure. The TR puck was nice.

Received my shipping notice as well. But they charged me $4.95 for shipping although there is free budget shipping being offered now (typically $4.95) for orders above $100... So much for subscribing to something. I'll see if they can reimburse it.

Called them now and was told that the free shipping only applies to orders being placed on their website rather than subscription orders with budget shipping. What a bunch of morons... I guess this is the US Mint's definition of customer service.

Yup, when the free shipping was announced it stated that it only applied to orders placed on their website and not to subscriptions.

That's too bad. Once I called an order in I think last time there was free shipping and they gave me free shipping. I never asked but got it.

I'm sorry...my bad. I said web orders but in my mind that meant not subscriptions since I have never called in an order nor saw the need.

It ONLY excludes subscriptions....

From a business perspective it does not make any sense to disadvantage subscribers. Just imagine that: "Because you are subscribing to a product, we will charge you for delivery. However, you are welcome to cancel your subscription and place an order online for the same product with free delivery."
$4.95 won't break my bank for sure, but it is very poor management.

I stopped all my subscriptions a couple years ago when they dropped the 10% discount promotion for subscriptions. None of the products I used to subscribe to ever were in danger of selling out in the first day, plus I'd rather combine shipping where possible vs. pay $5 for every product.

Just ordered my Moultrie. As mentioned above, not the best design, but I can't stop now!

I actually like the Moultrie, it's the second of the Revolutionary War sites after a number of Civil War (Gettysburg, Vicksburg, Harper's Ferry) commemorations. Just you all wait until the Effigy Mounds.

I would have to say that the Effigy Mounds will be the worse designed puck to date. They will probably still 17 or 18K of them just for collecting purposes, not because people are fond of the design.

Do not get me wrong, I love Fort Moultrie, I just wish they had selected one of the other designs. I think this one might be starting to grow on me, though.
