Quote: 16 to go now... I'll be glad once the series is over! I know.... feels like a car payment. Only 3 more years! At least shipping is free for this one. I will be ordering mine later today.

Quote: Hey CK, a lot of us drove that car off the lot over 7 years ago.....haha I've never had a 10-year car loan though. And some of those earlier issues REALLY felt like a car loan payment when silver was $45/oz! What's the US Mint gonna soak us for next time, I wonder...

There are currently only 90 of the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park 2017 Uncirculated Five Ounce Silver Coins in stock. I'm pretty sure this is just the first batch that was minted, but you never know with the US Mint...

Hmmmm....92 Clark's available a week after release. Kinda strange and if they low balled the mintage on this one it could get interesting. But, as you said, it could be the number before it goes on backorder....or.......

Opening week sales figures for Clark were 14,612 which is in line with previous ATBs:
14,642 coins for the 2017 Ellis Island 5 oz. (New Jersey) 13,740 coins for the 2017 Ozark Riverways 5 oz. (Missouri) 13,761 coins for the 2017 Frederick Douglass 5 oz. (DC) 14,363 coins for the 2017 Effigy Mounds 5 oz. (Iowa) 14,582 coins for the 2016 Fort Moultrie 5 oz. (South Carolina) 16,190 coins for the 2016 Theodore Roosevelt 5 oz. (North Dakota) 15,140 coins for the 2016 Harpers Ferry 5 oz. (West Virginia) 14,854 coins for the 2016 Cumberland Gap 5 oz. (Kentucky) 15,263 coins for the 2016 Shawnee National Forest 5 oz. (Illinois)
Considering how sluggish sales have been this year, paired with the drop in silver spot (we're not done yet), the fact that we are at the end of the year with the US Mint surely wanting to move to 2018 coin issues, we may be heading towards a new low with Clark (Hawai'i - 14,863; Acadia - 14,978).
We'll see in the coming weeks...

Clark is back at 94 only left in stock. This may be one worth getting a couple of SP70 graded ones...

Received my Clark UNC today. Given the season, couldn't resist. (Yes, I know it's not Eddie that says that line)
